Outside of Elavaire, you can find Michael playing catcher for his baseball team, on the golf course, or in his home auto-detail garage—his happy place. He lives in Loudoun County Virginia with his wife Jennifer. They have three daughters—Alexa, Alexandra, and Isabelle. Read less
Medley DeLeonibus
Medley has spent the last decade building deep, value-based relationships with C-level executives in dozens of industries between Baltimore and Washington DC. Naturally inquisitive, Medley is an exceptional listener, and she uses what she learns to identify connections and create value for everyone in her network. Prior to joining Elavaire, Medley was a rising star at Kaiser Permanente, where she was responsible for business development across the Mid-Atlantic. Before her time at Kaiser, Medley spent 6 years as the Regional Vice President of Partner Services for a national networking organization. In her role, she worked with over 60 industry-inclusive member companies to generate millions of dollars in new business. Read more

As Partner at Elavaire, Kris helps shape the vision, member experience, and strategic partnerships behind the growing community. Her work centers on cultivating authentic connection, encouraging thoughtful engagement, and creating spaces where accomplished women can build meaningful personal and professional networks. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that strong communities are built through intentionality, generosity, and shared experiences.
Prior to joining Elavaire, Kris served as Executive Vice President of Business Development at RCKRBX, a demand-side intelligence platform and advisory firm focused on transforming how real estate decisions are made. In that role, she led strategic partnerships and business development initiatives across multiple U.S. markets, working closely with owners, developers, investors, and advisors. Her ability to connect people, align priorities, and foster long-term trust became a defining part of her work.
Before RCKRBX, Kris spent 28 years at BECO Management, where she built a career focused on customer experience, tenant engagement, and relationship management across a large commercial real estate portfolio. Beginning in leasing, she steadily advanced into senior leadership roles and spent more than a decade as part of the company’s executive leadership team.
During her tenure, Kris led the creation and growth of BECO’s Workplace Experience Department, an eight-person team dedicated to enhancing the onsite experience across more than 8 million square feet of commercial office space. Under her leadership, the department helped redefine the organization’s approach to tenant engagement, customer success, community building, and experience strategy, with a strong emphasis on creating meaningful experiences and long-term loyalty.
A consistent theme throughout Kris’s career has been her focus on people, well-being, and culture. She helped lead wellness and engagement initiatives designed to strengthen connection and resilience across organizations and communities, particularly during periods of significant change and uncertainty.
Beyond her professional roles, Kris has been deeply involved in philanthropic and advisory work for more than two decades. She serves as a strategic advisor to Friendship Circle, partnering closely with founder Chana Kaplan on organizational strategy, programming, and fundraising initiatives supporting individuals and families with special needs. She also regularly volunteers alongside her children, reflecting her longstanding commitment to service, inclusion, and community.
Kris holds a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Maryland and is widely respected for her ability to connect people, ideas, and opportunities in ways that foster trust, collaboration, and long-term impact.
Kris lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband, Michael, their two children, Hudson and Chloe, and their beloved seven-year-old bulldog, Roxie Rae Broder. Hudson recently graduated and will attend High Point University in North Carolina, while Chloe is a rising junior at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac.

Tom Albero
Tom is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Alliance Material Handling Inc., a 100% employee-owned company in the forklift/warehousing solutions industry. A resident of Maryland for 45 years, Tom graduated from Bowie High School and earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He was formerly the CFO of a national professional services organization—offering both technical consulting services and project-based, full-lifecycle solutions to rapidly growing organizations and Fortune 1000 Companies in the mid-tier market. Tom donates his time on several boards—supporting his passion for the material handling industry (as Chairman of the Board for MHEDA), and food security (as Board Member for the Maryland Food Bank). Previously, Tom served on the Advisory Board for Enterprise Holdings Fleet Management Division.
Tom has a true pay-it-forward mentality supported by his passion for helping others. He has a focus on providing financial and life security—demonstrated by his service at the Maryland Food Bank and the creation of the Alliance ESOP, which secures a better retirement for all of its employees. Nick damoulakis
As president of the Frederick, Maryland’s office of Orases, Nick has the privilege of leading a diverse, smart and talented group of individuals across a variety of disciplines and clients—ranging from NFL, MLB, Johns Hopkins University, Hershey and Walter Reed Hospital. A creative problem solver and strategic thinker, Nick has over 20 years of experience in the digital landscape. Nick has authored and created the Digital Framework, an interactive process of working with organizations to align values to their culture, leadership style, and strategic thinking. His enthusiasm for value-driven cultures has earned Orases several awards, including a “Great Place to Work” Certification for 2022 and 2023, A Forbes’ “Best Small Workplace” award, and a Frederick’s “Best Places to Work” award for three years running. Nick is known for creating one of the most disruptive trends in online sheet music, by launching the first ever internet-based community for learning to play the guitar. His product was covered in The New York Times and earned him a personal meeting with Harry Fox Agency, Sony, and BMG. He has positioned himself as a leader in the Frederick community; serving as past president and treasurer of his church and also participating in several volunteer activities and community programs—including the Forbes Tech Council, Rotary, Tech Frederick, Entrepreneurial Council, Vistage, Accelerent, Frederick Innovative Technology Center, and the new Tech Incubator program in Downtown Frederick.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts from Frostburg State University and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from RIT. He holds concentrations in User Interface Design, Software Development, and Project Management, and was fortunate enough to study under some of the most innovative minds in the industry.
